Hubungan Elemen Kesedihan dalam Jatuh Cinta Seperti di Film-Film dengan Motif Menonton Film Indonesia pada Komunitas Motion Ime

Film dengan muatan emosional yang kuat dapat menjadi sumber hiburan sekaligus ruang refleksi bagi audiens. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan elemen kesedihan dalam film Jatuh Cinta Seperti di Film-Film (2023) dengan motif menonton film Indonesia pada anggota Komunitas Motion Ime. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode survei korelasional, dan sifat eksplanatif. Instrumen berupa kuesioner skala Likert lima poin disebarkan kepada 130 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel elemen kesedihan dioperasionalkan melalui lima tahap duka, yaitu penyangkalan, kemarahan, negosiasi, depresi, dan penerimaan, sedangkan motif menonton mencakup informasi, hiburan, identitas pribadi, dan integrasi sosial. Data dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear sederhana, uji t, dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh butir instrumen valid dan kedua variabel sangat reliabel. Hubungan antara elemen kesedihan dan motif menonton bersifat positif dan kuat (r = 0,670; p < 0,001), dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,757 dan t hitung 10,219. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa representasi kesedihan yang semakin kuat dan terstruktur berkaitan dengan meningkatnya motif audiens muda untuk menonton film Indonesia.
