Abstract

Kegiatan Market Day merupakan bentuk penerapan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang memberikan pengalaman belajar autentik bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi Market Day dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kolaborasi dan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 201 Sukaluyu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain naratif reflektif dan melibatkan 28 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, refleksi guru dan siswa, wawancara singkat, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85% siswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan kolaboratif melalui pembagian peran yang proporsional, komunikasi efektif, dan penyelesaian masalah dalam kelompok. Selain itu, 75% siswa menunjukkan perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui analisis modal, perhitungan harga jual, evaluasi keuntungan, serta pengambilan keputusan selama proses produksi dan penjualan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Market Day merupakan strategi PjBL yang efektif untuk menumbuhkan kolaborasi dan penalaran kritis, sekaligus memperkuat Dimensi Profil Lulusan pada kedua aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan Market Day sebagai model pembelajaran kontekstual yang mampu mengintegrasikan kompetensi akademik dan karakter secara terpadu pada siswa sekolah dasar.
